这张2000年发行的《柏林恋人》，是Kari Bremnes顺应潮流制作的首张英语专辑，全碟以HDCD编码，全部用英文演绎。按唱片封面上的标题，这张专辑正确的名称应译为“挪威情怀”，但由于第一首的《柏林恋人》实在是太好听，代理商干脆改用它作为专辑的名称，印在中文侧标上。Kari Bremnes还是一位优秀的创作型歌手，专辑中的11首歌曲全部由她创作。音乐的伴奏班底以原声乐器为主干，包括手风琴、管风琴、倍低音提琴这些普通流行音乐里少见的乐器，演绎精致剔透，格调高雅清秀。
《柏林恋人》一开始，贝司轻轻的一勾弦，套鼓狠命的一敲击，一股绵软下潜的低频瞬间铺洒开来，Kari Bremnes以挥洒的歌声和真挚的情感，叙述着这个让人惆怅不已的爱情故事，那份略带伤感的意境油然而起……
