这首歌最初是英国的Mike Oldfield创作的，很多网上的资料都说这首歌是纪念被枪杀的John Lennon
1980年12月8日，马克·查普曼伪装成一个歌迷，在列侬的公寓旁边徘徊了很久。那天晚上，当列侬从录音棚返回家中的时候，查普曼请列侬在他的签字本上签名。当时他内心曾进行过激烈的斗争，但最后仍然举起手枪朝着列侬的后背连开了5枪。
和Moonlight Shadow中所写的He was shot six times by a man on the run倒是有点类似
比利时女歌手Dana Winner，音色纯净，音域宽广的她1988年在一次混音竞赛中，以一首由Mireille Mathieu唱的"Amour Défendu"的获胜．次年，发行了第一张单曲翻唱卡朋特的"Top of the World"（Op het dak van de wereld），从此走上演艺事业。
1992年末，另一首单曲"Woordenloos"发行，立即收到乐迷们的青睐，上榜之后，排名更是居高不下，达数月之久。
