然而，一生中最爱的歌只有一首，就如同一生中最爱的人只能有一个。

我不知道，友情和爱情是否真的可以愈久弥新；然而这首歌的存在，让我知道，对它的爱可以愈久弥新。
我无法分辨，这歌吸引我的究竟是什么：是Don Mclean温柔的声音？是歌词中浓冽的色彩？是弦外无人可解的忧伤？是最孤独的人文森特·凡高？还是余音绕梁挥之不去的音乐？
这首歌是写给画家梵高的，因此取名“Vincent”；它还有个名字叫“Starry Starry Night”（星夜）。歌词里用了许多形容色彩的词，印衬梵高的画笔。歌里面反反复复吟唱的那Starry Starry Night，便是这幅叫做“星夜”的画中的风景。
Starry Starry Night，多少次我静静地聆听这首歌，多少次我静静地凝视那幅画。
我对纯艺术了解很少，知道凡高是许多年前，从听说他割耳和开枪自杀开始的。渐渐地喜欢他了，也爱上了他画中的沉重而浓冽的色彩，就如同凡高对这个世界沉重而浓冽的爱，就如同歌中所唱的，他的那些孤独的爱，如何地无人愿听，如何地令他承受折磨。 他的一生充满了孤独、失衡、痛苦、悲剧，却是个异于常理的天才。我最爱他的《向日葵》和《罗马河畔的星夜》。
Don Mclean的声音是丝毫不张扬不霸道的，缓缓唱来如同老友一般平和。他的声音不会占据你的心，却可以围绕着你的心，不知不觉的抚平你心中的郁闷和伤口，温柔而不失风骨。
齐豫翻唱版本我也十分所喜欢。她的声音里有着一种岁月无法磨灭的清澈和悠远；听她歌声的感觉，就仿佛是用我自己的眼睛去看那幅《星夜》，宁静而寥落。
胡里奥的演绎我不太欣赏，也许太完美的声音，太奔放复杂的节奏吧，好听则好听矣，但失去了原来凄美和无奈的神韵。
Starry Starry Night, 歌词令我如痴如醉。在那歌声里去读那些珠玉般的字句，我觉得那是诗。优美的风景里面是凡高更深的无奈，厚重的颜色下面是他难言的痛苦，就如同在人潮汹涌的街上却感觉独自一人的落寞，如同在掌声如雷的台上却感觉无人喝彩的悲哀。
每次CD机里传来第一句：“starry starry night,，paint your palette blue and gray”时，人如遭电击的震撼；听到那一句“But I could have told you Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.”时，眼泪一下子就流了下来。
